The Hearthside Hour : A Homemaking Intensive
You already know what kind of story you want to live. Let's build the world it happens in.
I have been building worlds for sixteen years.
Towns with names and histories and personalities. Streets where you can almost smell the magnolias. Kitchens where the light comes in a certain way on Sunday mornings. Homes that feel so real that readers write to me and ask if they can visit.
I do not invent those places out of thin air. I build them the same way a home actually gets built, detail by detail, feeling by feeling, until the whole thing has a heartbeat.
And somewhere along the way I realized I was doing the exact same thing inside my own four walls.
The Hearthside Hour is what happens when a sixteen-year worldbuilder turns her full attention to your home.
Here is what I know about the homes we actually want to live in
They have a feeling you can name. Not just clean or organized or decorated, but something deeper. Warm. Quiet. Alive. Like somewhere a real story is happening.
They have a personality. You walk in and you know immediately whose home it is. It could not belong to anyone else.
They have a culture. The way mornings move. What happens on Sunday evenings. The rhythms that hold the household together without anyone having to think too hard about them.
Most of us are living in homes that were never intentionally built. We accumulated furniture and habits and routines and one day looked around and thought, this does not quite feel like me. Or we moved somewhere new and the walls are blank and we have no idea where to start. Or life shifted and the world we had built stopped fitting the life we are actually living now.
That is what the Hearthside Hour is for.
What worldbuilding your home actually means
When I sit down to build a fictional town, I am not just choosing paint colors. I am asking: what does this place feel like at six in the morning? What do people do here on a slow Saturday? What is the unspoken culture, the thing everybody who lives here just knows? What makes this place different from every other place? What story could only happen here?
We ask the same questions about your home.
What do you want it to feel like when you walk through the door at the end of a long day? What is the culture of your household, the real one, not the aspirational one? What is the aesthetic language of your life? What rhythms belong to your family, your faith, your season? What story are you trying to live and does your home match it?
By the time we are done, you will have something most people spend years trying to find. A clear, specific, completely personal vision of the world you are building inside your home. Not a mood board. Not a checklist. A real foundation.
This is for you if
You feel like your home has a personality somewhere inside it but you cannot quite find it yet.
You just moved or your life just shifted and you are starting from something close to scratch.
You have been homemaking for years and somewhere along the way it stopped feeling intentional and started feeling like maintenance.
You are the kind of woman who wants her home to feel like a whole world, not just a place where things get stored and people sleep.
You know the feeling you are chasing. You just need someone to help you build toward it.
What you walk away with
A clear picture of your home's world. The feeling, the personality, the culture, the aesthetic. All of it named and articulated so you actually know what you are building toward instead of just hoping you will recognize it when you get there.
Permission to do it completely your way. Your home is not supposed to look like mine or anybody else's. The Hearthside Hour is not about trends or rules or what is working for someone on the internet. It is about you and the specific, beautiful, one-of-a-kind world that only you could build.
A little about where this comes from
I have been building the fictional world of Roena County for sixteen years. Five towns. Hundreds of characters. A world so detailed and so lived-in that readers regularly mistake it for a real place.
I did not build it all at once. I built it the way any world gets built, slowly, intentionally, one true detail at a time.
My own home is built the same way. Rooted in faith and slow living. Shaped by a creative eye that finds beauty in the ordinary. Tested through real seasons, hard ones and beautiful ones, and refined into something that genuinely feels like the world I want to live in.
I know how to do this. And I know how to help you do it too.
Here is how it works
01. Purchase your session Once your purchase is complete, you will receive a confirmation with everything you need to get started.
02. Complete your questionnaire You will receive a short questionnaire about your home, your life, your aesthetic instincts, and what you are hoping to feel when you walk through your front door. Answer it honestly. That is where the real work begins.
03. Choose your time After your questionnaire is submitted, you will receive a link to my calendar to schedule your private virtual session at a time that works for you.
04. We build We meet one on one, virtually. We talk about your home the way a storyteller talks about a world she is bringing to life. You leave with clarity, direction, and a real vision for the home you are building.
All sessions are held virtually. Your scheduling link is sent after your questionnaire is received.
