Where Homemaking Meets Healing And Happily Ever Afters
Welcome to Westonberry, a slow and soulful corner of the world. It is a gathering place for homemakers, for women who love to set a table and open their doors, for anyone who wants to trace the romance hidden in a sunlit morning or in the pages of a book that feels like home.
I am a romance author, filmmaker, and homemaker telling stories that honor a Black woman’s right to slow down, rest, and be cherished. My work celebrates softness without apology and treats homemaking, romance, and intentional living as powerful acts of resistance. Through every book and every frame, I create spaces where Black women can breathe, feel deeply, and be held with care.

Meet Jhéanell
I’m Jhéanell—a romance writer, filmmaker, homemaker, dedicated to helping women turn their real lives into stories worth telling.
My work lives at the intersection of storytelling and intentional living, grounded in the belief that the most beautiful stories aren’t just written, they’re lived.
Through books, film, journaling, and homemaking, I help my community to romance their real lives, and support homemakers in transforming everyday routines into rituals that feel like love.
Whether I’m leading a retreat, writing my next novel, or baking something from scratch, everything I create is a love letter to the women who are ready to romanticize their lives and step fully into their main character energy, while being honored.
When I’m not guiding, writing, or dreaming up love stories, you’ll find me in my garden, curled up with a book, or savoring slow mornings with my family.
